When it comes to being effortlessly cool, few can compare to Snoop Dogg. The multi-hyphenate star has constantly maintained relevance by reinventing himself from beloved West Coast rapper to actor to spokesperson and now, a full-fledged mogul. Not to mention he’s able to call Martha Stewart his BFF. And naturally, his friendship with the culinary queen has helped establish him as a force within the culinary world, too.

Whether it’s reports of his Snoop Loopz cereal or the success of the Snoop Cali red wine collection from 19 Crimes, there seems to be nothing slowing the “Drop It Like It’s Hot” rapper down. And his next project may be his hottest yet — a new coffee line entitled INDOxyz.

Inspired by his travels and “the many long nights in the studio making hit after hit” that were fueled by coffee, Snoop partnered with Indonesian coffee businessman Michael Riady to release what they coin a “lifestyle coffee brand.”

So what exactly makes INDOxyz unique? First, the company (which may pull the inspiration of its name from Snoop’s gin brand, INDOGGO) uses coffee beans from different islands in Indonesia, including Java, Sulawesi, Sumatra, and Bali. From there, the beans are roasted in Los Angeles before being turned into a brewed, canned, or single-origin whole-bean coffee drink.

Can’t wait to get your coffee fix? The company will officially launch in California before expanding to Las Vegas and, eventually, the entire country. For $5.99, you can grab a can of cold brew or — for only $17.99 — you can line your pantry with bags of roasted whole coffee beans.

Aside from the company’s website, eager coffee lovers can access the drink on apps like GoPuff and BevMo, or online through Amazon. If you prefer to pick up yours in person, however, brick-and-mortar stores will carry the brand, including Vons, Erewhon, Pavilions, Safeway, Sprouts, and Albertsons.

In 2019, I was fortunate to visit a coffee plantation in Indonesia, and I can confirm that the coffee there is delicious. I know I’ll be grabbing a can (or two) of the cold brew to pair with this delicious banana coffee cake for breakfast.
