Another day, another Snoop Dogg business venture. The rap empresario who has released a cookbook, his Snoop Cali Red wine along with 19 Crimes, a food competition special alongside his BFF Martha Stewart, and a line of hot dogs aptly named “Snoop Doggs” — which we’re still impatiently waiting for — is entering the breakfast game with something for the kids (and kids at heart): Snoop Loopz cereal.

The cereal will be released under Snoop’s — whose real name is Calvin Broadus — Broadus Foods, which was co-founded with New Orleans rapper Master P. And the latter is no stranger to the food business having launched his own line of products including chips and drinks and — under the “Uncle P’s Louisiana Seasoned” line — rice, beans, grits, and oatmeal.

News of the cereal was announced by Master P on Instagram earlier this week with a number of fans reacting with excitement. “Broadus Foods introduces the best tasting cereal in the game Snoop loopz. @snoopdogg we’re taking over the grocery stores. Snooploopz.com The more we make the more we give,” the caption read of the image of the bright cereal box donning none other than a pooch and spinning to the sounds of Snoop’s 1998 single Still A G Thang.

While there is no release date information as of yet, Master P took to Twitter to tease the cereal’s flavor notes.  “MORE Corn, MORE Flavor & MORE Marshmallows that’s what separates us from the Rest. If you like Fruit Loops then you will LOVE SnoopLoopz!!”

I’m not sure what that will taste like, but I, for one, can’t wait to try it!
