Are you planning on picking up a HoneyBaked Ham for Easter this year? What if I told you that you don’t have to? With this Instant Pot version you only need five ingredients and 30 minutes for a perfectly cooked, sweet and tangy ham.

Not only does making your own Easter ham give you more control over the seasoning and final product, but it also can save you a few bucks in the process. A whole HoneyBaked Ham in Connecticut, where I live, can cost up to $110, but buying a plain bone-in, fully cooked spiral ham at the grocery store is way more affordable.

The only other ingredients you need are apple cider, brown sugar, coarse ground mustard, and honey to make the sauce. Once you coat the ham with the sauce, you set it in the Instant Pot for 20 minutes on high pressure and then let the steam release naturally.

To get that signature golden crust on the ham, you will need to coat the ham with more sauce and brown sugar after it cooks in the Instant Pot. Set it under the broiler for five minutes or so, and then you’re done!

Set this out for Easter dinner this year and I guarantee no one will miss the name-brand ham.
