I love pineapples and they are everywhere during Summer. What better way to enjoy them than having them cold and refreshing? This sorbet is both satisfying to your sweet tooth and healthy because it uses fresh ingredients. And it’s very easy to do too!

Pineapple Sorbet
Ingredients:

1 pineapple
1/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup lemon juice

Directions:

You can scoop out the pineapple meat from the pineapple so you can use it later as a container or you can just peel, core and dice the pineapple. Combine the ingredients in a blender and process until smooth. You can leave some pineapple meat and just roughly chop it, to add later if you don’t like a smooth sorbet.

If you have an ice cream maker, you can use that to freeze the sorbet. If you don’t have an ice cream maker, put the mixture in a container and freeze. You have to stir it with a fork from time to time to achieve desired texture.
