Is Target Open on Easter This Year?
If you’re anything like me, you know the feeling of going into Target with the goal of getting just one thing and instead coming out with 20. It’s hard to not get lost in Target. There’s just so much to look at and peruse. Do I need a new kitchen plate set? No. But I absolutely will be looking at the latest ones.
You can get anything you need in Target, from a new microwave to a frozen pizza for tonight’s dinner. Target even has multiple grocery brands of their own, such as Good and Gather, Favorite Day, and Market Pantry, which offer some great snacks and ready-to-heat meals. (You can find me lost in the trail mix aisle; there are so many varieties to choose from!) Some locations even sell alcohol.
Of course, they have a ton of holiday-themed items as well, from Easter baskets to candies like spring bunny paw marshmallows. But if you were counting on snagging any day-of Easter essentials, you’ll have to go elsewhere. All Target locations nationwide will be closed on Easter Sunday.
If you absolutely need to include that emotional support mug in your Easter basket, be sure to head to Target beforehand. Just a few weeks ago, Target launched a new paid membership program, so if you join ASAP, you don’t even have to worry about leaving the house. You can get all your Easter needs shipped directly to your door in two days or fewer.
If you do happen to be in a pinch on Easter Sunday, here are some creative activities you can do with items already in your house. Get crafty with these DIY Easter eggs decorated with household items like twine, permanent markers, and napkins. Rather than dying Easter eggs, make these two-ingredient minimalist eggs and doodle directly onto brown eggs with a chalk pen. While the extras are nice, you don’t need a lot to have a happy Easter!
