How to Make the World’s Best Potatoes

This couldn’t be an easier potato recipe to make and all you need are a few simple ingredients: potatoes, butter, Parmesan, and the seasonings of your choice. For this one, I used a blend of seasoned salt, paprika, and garlic.

To start, wash and slice your potatoes in half and, using a sharp knife, score each half. Next, add melted butter to an unlined baking pan along with Parmesan and the seasoning of your choice. Using a silicone spatula, mix together until blended and a paste is created. Add your potatoes sliced-side down. You want to do this so that your created flavor is able to stick to the potatoes and create a crust as they cook. Place in the oven for 425°F for 30 minutes and once they’re done, you’ll be ready to dig in!

2 Tips for Making the World’s Best Potatoes

  1. Don’t forget to score your halves. Scoring your potatoes is an important step because it allows more seasoning to be captured and, as a result, increases the flavor of each bite.
  2. Get creative. While I used a personal blend on my potatoes to give them a little extra kick, you can use whatever seasonings you’re in the mood for to make them your own.
