Working from home is the new normal, and many people are now realizing what freelancers (Hi!) and remote workers have always known: When you WFH, you don’t actually get more time! If anything, it can be very easy to get stuck working long stretches on your laptop without the regular breaks of a more traditional work setting. And if you normally pick up a coffee or smoothie on your morning commute, or have a regular lunch routine at the office, you may suddenly be asking a lot more from your home kitchen than usual, considering you need to work a full day and feed yourself (and possibly other family members) every meal! Having the right appliances in your kitchen can make these new demands much easier, plus they’ll do the hard work for you while you’re stuck in meetings. Luckily, Walmart is having a massive sale on small kitchen appliances that includes everything from a coffee machine that serves cafe-style brews to gadgets that cut cooking time by half. Below, we’ve rounded up our favorite deals!

1. Instant Pot DUO 3-Quart 7-in-1 Multi-Use Programmable Cooker

By now you’re familiar with Instant Pot’s 6– and 8-quart pressure cookers, but if you don’t have room for a larger appliance, consider the 3-quart DUO mini. Perfect for smaller households, it can be used for making small batches of oatmeal, cooking dried beans for dips and stews, steaming vegetables, prepping chicken breasts to top over salads, and more! Plus, it has the power of seven appliances, so you can just “set it and forget it.”

This compact CitiZ model is small enough to fit in the kitchen or even on a desk, and includes an assortment of Nespresso pods that can be brewed in a single shot or a slightly larger Lungo volume. If you want to make an Americano, simply add boiling water, or pour in hot milk for a satisfying café au lait.

4. Instant Vortex 6-Qt. Air Fryer

Seriously, there’s no quicker way to get a crispy snack or meal on the table than using an air fryer. This baby has four preset options for air fry, roast, bake, and reheat. Plus, you can manually set the temperature and time if you want to prepare a specific recipe. Foods like roasted vegetables get crisp with hardly any oil, and if you’re working your way through the items in your freezer, the air fryer will defrost and cook them quicker than a conventional oven can.

7. Shark ION Robot Vacuum with Wi-Fi

Fact: Spending more time inside will make your living space get dirty faster! This is a great time to invest in a solid robot vacuum that’ll do the cleaning for you, navigating through your home and picking up crumbs, dust, hair, dirt, and debris. It has special brushes that reach into corners, and since the brushroll works on multiple surfaces, it can clean the carpet under your feet in the living room before making its way to the floor in the kitchen. The built-in Wi-Fi control works with both Alexa and the Shark Clean App, so you can operate it from afar (not much of an issue right now, but something you’ll be happy to have in the future!).

The door has a reversible hinge that can open to the left or the right, so it will easily fit wherever you put it, whether in a pantry, under the desk, or in a spare corner of the kitchen. Once we ride out this phase, it can double as a fridge for beverages or even skin-care products.
