Who doesn’t love a tasty Trader Joe’s frozen food find? We love digging into TJ’s frozen faves, from sweet treats to clever frozen dinners, and we’re always on the hunt to see what other shoppers are stocking in their freezers. So what’s the latest popular frozen food find shoppers are stocking up on? According to the internet, customers can’t stop raving about the Papas Rellenas, and we can absolutely see why.

Sold for just $4.99 a box, the Trader Joe’s Papas Rellenas is a Latin American and Caribbean comfort food, with seasoned “picadillo-esque” ground beef stuffed in a ball of mashed potatoes, covered in breadcrumbs, and fried until golden-brown. Each box comes with four balls making them the perfect appetizer, snack, or even a dinner paired with all of your other favorite Trader Joe’s essentials — like the brand’s Spanish Style Rice or Elote Chopped Salad Kit. (Or both!) Serve with the Trader Joe’s Salsa Verde on the side, and dinner is served in a matter of minutes.

This tasty, authentic frozen meal has quickly become a favorite among TJ’s regulars. “They’re really good. I’ve been super disappointed in TJ’s frozen food lately but I’ll rebuy these,” writes one Reddit user. “They are pretty tasty. The texture was perfect with a light spray of oil in the air fryer,” says another.
