Costco fans like myself are well aware of the chain’s craveable confections but they just might have hit the ball out of the park with what a Reddit commenter is calling a Tate’s “dupe”. The Kirkland Signature Thin & Crispy Chocolate Chip Cookies have been giving the high-end, Hamptons-based brand a run for its money in both online forums and social media posts where fans have been declaring their love for the treats.

The Costco version of the cookies has a few advantages over its bougie rivals. First, they’re mini, so if you ignore the serving suggestions like I do, you won’t feel bad about eating five or six at a time. Second, they come in a 24-ounce bag as opposed to Tate’s 7-ounce size, meaning more cookie for your hard-earned dough.

Lastly, you’ll be glad to know that when you buy the KS Thin & Crispy Chocolate Chip Cookies you’re purchasing from a company ranked one of the best to work for in the country.

All else aside though, the cookies are just damn good and join a long list of craveable Costco finds that have dedicated followings, like their Kirkland Signature Sriracha Seasoning or their Chocolate Chip Ricotta dessert cheese. I tip my hat to the geniuses at Costco who keep coming up with these viral snacks and flavor combinations, and these KS Thin & Crispy Chocolate Chip Cookies are one “dupe” that really are better than the original.
