With the holiday season comes celebrations big and small, which means bubbly is bound to be making at least a few appearances. Whether you’re pouring a few bottles into your punch bowl for the holiday party, popping one or two to toast with for New Year’s Eve, or wrapping up one to bring over for Christmas dinner, these are the bottles of sparkling wine to reach for. Not only are these three bottles priced right — they’re all under $15 — but they are also readily available at major retailers. Most importantly, though, they’re super sip-able and, of course, extra festive.

The Best Bubbles for Punch

If you’re planning on pouring sparkling wine into your punch bowl or mixing it into cocktails, there’s no need to spend a lot. Your best bet is something that’s dry and generally tasty but is cheap enough that you can easily buy a few bottles without worrying about it. This is why Cava is king for punch. The Spanish sparkling wine has a strong fizz that holds up in mixed drinks and is so bright and crispy tasting. Jaume Serra Cristalino Cava is easy to find — Trader Joe’s carries it, among other country-wide retailers — and is priced under $10, which makes it my go-to.

The Best Bubbles for Sipping As-Is

As much as I love punch, a simple glass of bubbly that’s unadorned is special enough, in my opinion. There are plenty of splurgy bottles to enjoy as-is, but there are lots of budget-friendly ones too. My pick here is an Italian

Prosecco

Mionetto Prosecco is less sweet than other inexpensive bottles, with well-balanced acidity and clean bubbles. It’s available at Whole Foods, Target, Total Wine, and more. Oh, and fun fact: It’s organic.

The Best Bubbles for Gifting

If you’re looking for a nice yet affordable bottle to bring over as a host gift or for a holiday swap, go for Yes Way, Rosé Bubbles. It’s the sparkling version of the cleverly titled rosé that I kept reaching for all summer long. Pink bubbly just feels extra celebratory and special. This bottle, made in the South of France, not only looks sharp with it’s fun polka-dotted label, but it’s also perfectly dry, full of minerality, and tastes like strawberries. It’s available exclusively at Target and is a very wallet-friendly $15.
