That’s where Aldi comes in. With the cult store’s unbeatable prices, you can put together a beautiful, impressive cheese board without breaking the bank.
This cheese board tutorial comes from blogger Jess at Plays Well with Butter. And she bought everything she needed to assemble it at Aldi!
Jess went with a mix of cheeses (double creme Brie, white cheddar, smoked Gouda, and blue cheese), cured meats (salami and prosciutto), crackers (a six-cracker assortment, pita chips, and Parmesan cheese bites), and nuts (roasted salted almonds, honey-roasted cashews, and a trail mix that contained dried fruit and pistachios).
She also gave a great tip about adding one semi-homemade element to the board. In this case she mixed softened goat cheese, honey, and a fig spread (all found at Aldi) to create a creamy, sweet dip or spread for veggies or crackers.
To add freshness and color, Jess filled out the board with blueberries, baby rainbow carrots, sugar snap peas, radishes, mini sweet peppers, and mini cucumbers.
