This $15 Find Has Completely Changed My Mind About Reusable Silicone Bags
While many of our editors are fans of reusable silicone bags, it wasn’t until recently that I jumped on the bandwagon. Up until now, I was satisfied with using my glass food storage containers and Bee’s Wrap produce bags for leftovers or taking food to go. I had been turned off by silicone bags and how difficult they were to clean as well as the odors that often hung around after. Given these impressive results for storing and pouring liquid, I’m planning on using this bag for freezing soup, stew, and stock this fall and winter. And, because it’s microwave-safe, I’ll be able to easily heat my food once it’s thawed.
This $15 bag has made a surprisingly big impact on my daily routine. I love having this as a plastic-free option for storing food, taking snacks on-the-go, or brewing cold brew without having a large pitcher take up fridge space.
