Who says Kringles only have to be eaten around Christmas? While it’s typical for the Northern European pastry to be consumed during the holiday season, one of our favorite grocers, Trader Joe’s, has historically sold the treat year-round in seasonal flavors like Cheesecake, Pumpkin Caramel, and Pecan. Fortunately for us, one of our old favorites is back on the shelves once again, as spotted by Instagrammer @trader_joes_treasure_hunt

The Raspberry Kringle embodies your standard delicious flaky pastry, but stuffed with tart raspberry filling and topped with a sweet icing. We would recommend serving this warm, but feel free to enjoy it in the way that tastes best to you. You can even top with a scoop of vanilla ice cream for a pie-like dessert.

Commenters on the post chimed in saying that raspberry is their favorite Kringle flavor of all time and we don’t blame them. There’s even a Reddit thread dedicated solely to the dessert, with users praising the find.

“WOW. It’s so good!!!! 10/10. Omg way worth the hype I love it,” wrote one commenter. “I suddenly need to drive an hour and a half to my nearest Trader Joe’s…” said another user.

The treat is perfect to lay out as a dessert at any dinner party, celebration, or can even just be enjoyed on its own. You can also store it in the freezer and defrost when you’re ready to eat so the Kringle will last longer, if you’re thinking about buying more than one (which you should).

You’ll definitely want to add a few of these to your cart while you can. One Kringle is selling for $9.99 each and since they are seasonal, there will only be a limited amount hitting the stores. Make sure to try them while you can!
