Hot on the heels of their Frank’s RedHot partnership of summer 2021, Goldfish is heating things up yet again with another household name: Old Bay Seasoning. And no, this is not a joke.

According to a press release, the collaboration stemmed from the fact that Goldfish fans were already sprinkling Old Bay onto the fish-shaped crackers for added flavor. Old Bay Seasoned Goldfish combine the classic saltine crackers with Old Bay’s seafood seasoning blend, which includes black pepper, paprika, celery salt, and red pepper flakes. We can see this salty snack pairing well with classic summertime staples: grilled burgers, homemade pickles, sweet corn, and juicy watermelon.

“What I find most exciting about this partnership is that once again Goldfish is showing up for our flavor enthusiasts in a big, bold way,” Janda Lukin, Chief Marketing Officer of Campbell’s Snacks, said in a press release. “Old Bay Seasoned Goldfish harnesses the fandom of two iconic brands and brings consumers a new way to experience their favorite zesty flavor on their beloved fish-shaped cracker, just in time for summer.”

While the new limited-edition Old Bay Seasoned Goldfish will be launching nationwide, a limited quantity became available on the McCormick website ($5.58 for a 2-pack) this week. Unfortunately, they’re already sold out, but don’t fret: You’ll be able to find the limited-time flavor again soon wherever Goldfish are sold (while supplies last).

We’ll be on the lookout for Old Bay Seasoned Goldfish the next time we’re at the grocery store, as well as the latest and greatest products to hit grocery store shelves.
