When you stop to think about it, your KitchenAid stand mixer is probably your most versatile small appliance. Sure, it’s mostly a mixer (hence the name), but thanks to that power hub on the front of the machine and all the fun accessories and attachments, it can really do so much more.

Whether you’ve had your stand mixer for years or you just got one for Black Friday (happy early Christmas to you!), these are the attachments and tools you should be putting on your holiday wish list.

This new attachment is so smart and makes so much sense that we can’t believe it took so long for someone to come up with it. Not only does it sift and measure flour, but it also dispenses the necessary amount directly into the stand mixer’s bowl. If you bake (anything, ever!), this little gadget will make your life a million times easier.

Not sure if you’re the type to make your own pasta from scratch? Well you certainly won’t be if you don’t have this set waiting for you in your cabinet. Have it on hand and you’ll be more likely to try the task for a special occasion. It’ll be worth it, too — there’s just something so great about making your own pasta from scratch, and this roller set makes it way less complicated. It’ll get your noodles paper-thin and evenly sliced in no time. All you have to do is make the dough and feed it through the rollers.

3. KitchenAid Ice Cream Maker Attachment, $80 at Williams Sonoma

You’re gonna want to make room in your freezer for this insulated bowl. If you keep it in there at all times, then you’ll be able to make up to two quarts of super-creamy ice cream in just 20 to 30 minutes anytime a craving strikes. Seriously, there’s no need to buy a whole other small appliance to make ice cream if you have a KitchenAid stand mixer already — you just need to get this set and you’ll be screaming for ice cream all the time.

Handheld and countertop spiralizers have nothing on this attachment version. It can turn a single zucchini into a giant zoodle sheet for lasagna! It can also peel, core, and slice apples. And it can noodle-ify sweet potatoes, carrots, and more.

So this won’t add a function to your mixer, but if you make (or want to make!) a decent amount of cakes, this is the best addition you can ask for. It’ll scrape down the sides of your bowl so you won’t have to stop the machine and do it manually. This one is for 4.5- and 5-quart tilt-head stand mixers, but you can find others sizes here.

6. Command Cord Bundlers, $6 for two

Such a little thing, but something worth asking Santa to put in your stocking! See, if you put one of these on the back of your stand mixer, you finally have a neat and orderly way to store the cord when the machine’s not in use. And because two bundlers come in a pack, you can do the same thing to your blender.
