Aldi’s Epic Advent Calendars Are Back and Better than Ever — Here Are All the Details
While traditional Advent calendars are meant to help count down to December 25, we are in search of one to help us pass the time to get us to November 4. Why? That’s the official date that Aldi is launching their line of 2020 Advent calendars, a collection of surprising and delightful (and delicious!) ways to celebrate the nearing holiday season.
According to our sources at Aldi, there will be 20 different advent calendars this year and they’ll start appearing on shelves starting November 4. Customers can expect to find standard chocolate calendars, calendars for pets, character calendars for kids, and so many more. Here are the six that we’re most excited about.
1. Emporium Selection Advent Cheese Calendar, $14.99
Every year that this calendar has been around, it has flown off shelves. If you’re lucky enough to find this cheesy delight, grab a few and pass around to your friends. There’s nothing like counting down to the Christmas season with a different type of cheese every day. You’ll find these starting November 4.
2. Beer Advent Calendar, $49.99
Available November 4, this calendar contains 24 different beers to say cheers to the holiday season! Hop to it!
3. The 2020 Collection Wine Advent Calendar
Also available starting November 4, this wine calendar contains 24 different mini (187-milliliter) bottles, specially selected for 2020.
4. Vista Bay Hard Seltzer Advent Calendar, $34.99
If 2020 wasn’t the year of hard seltzer already, now that there’s a hard seltzer Advent calendar, we think it’s time to make that declaration. This new Aldi calendar contains 12 different flavors of Vista Bay. Who said hard seltzer was just for the summer?
5. O’Donnells 12 Days of Irish Country Cream Calendar, $29.99
Close your eyes and imagine what this calendar looks like (because we don’t have a photo of this newbie just yet). You’ll find this calendar on shelves for the first time starting November 25. We’ve deduced that it’s filled with mini bottles of O’Donnells Irish Country Cream liqueur.
6. Sparkling Countdown to the New Year, $24,99
You’re going to have to wait until December 2 to get your hands on this sparkling wine calendar to count down to the new year (which can’t come soon enough).
