Tell us a little (or a lot) about your home and the people who live there: My fiancé Drew and I live in our RV, working as traveling physical therapists. We travel throughout the United States with our 3-year-old Border Aussie and calico cat. When we graduated in August we weren’t quite ready to settle down. We loved the idea behind travel therapy but didn’t want to lose the sense of stability that a stationary home provides, so when we discovered the possibility of RV living, we were completely sold. This way of living has truly allowed me to curate a sense of home, regardless of where we may travel. I love being able to come home everyday to a space that sparks so much joy and is a complete self reflection of Drew and me.

I love the way the wood accent wall ties together the neutral tones in our home.

Describe your home’s style in 5 words or less: Rustic Boho Farmhouse on Wheels

What is your favorite room and why? I love our main living area because it’s filled with so much natural light. We have a total of eight windows between the kitchen and living room. It really helps brighten up our space. We spend the majority of our time here, whether it be cooking dinners together, catching up on continuing education, or binge-watching “Law and Order: SVU.”

If you could magically change something about your home, what would it be? A dryer! We have a small portable washer that we use and honestly, it does a pretty good job but I can’t stand the process of hang drying clothes. Thankfully, Drew is much more patient than me and handles most of our drying and folding.

What’s the last thing you bought (or found!) for your home? We found a beautiful wooden basket for the pets toys for $4.75 and our rattan wall plate for $1.75 at Goodwill!

Any advice for creating a home you love? Don’t ever feel like you have to fit your style into one “box.” It’s completely normal to be drawn to different styles and aesthetics. Discover what it is you’re drawn to specifically and begin to incorporate pieces that reflect your interests. Don’t worry if some of your decor is farmhouse and some of it is coastal, by pulling together pieces that you love your home will become a self reflection of you and you’ll find so much more satisfaction.
