Cook Like a Pro with This New Ina Garten Spatula
My dream of cooking with Ina Garten just became a little more real. Last week Williams Sonoma released a bunch of custom spatulas from your favorite celebrities, including the likes of Gwen Stefani, Questlove, Giada De Laurentiis, and of course Ina Garten. For years now, Williams Sonoma has designed special spatulas to support No Kid Hungry. “We’ve joined No Kid Hungry and some influential friends to fight childhood hunger,” the kitchenware giant explains on their site. They donate 30 percent of their proceeds to the organization. Williams Sonoma has sold over 50,000 spatulas in the history of this partnership and raised $5.5 million dollars.
Of all the spatulas released this year, I’m probably (definitely) most excited about the one from Ina Garten. It’s certainly not the most colorful one, or the one with the most interesting design, but it’s Ina after all. The spatula has her signature on it, and it’s a fun teaser for her upcoming cookbook.
Garten’s cookbook is coming out in October this year, and is aptly called Cook Like a Pro. The book will provide recipes, tips, and techniques so her fans can “cook with confidence no matter how much experience they have in the kitchen.” If you plan on buying her cookbook for a friend for the holidays, it only makes sense that you’d want to grab this spatula as well.
