This just in from the front page of the Daily Prophet: Starbucks has made all of your wildest dreams come true with pumpkin juice. The best part? You don’t even have to go all the way to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter to get one. Thank you, Starbucks. Thank you.

If I had to explain the excitement behind drinking something that was merely written into a story, a beverage that only fictional characters have tasted, then it would just sound silly. But if you’re like me and spent the better part of your evenings reading Harry Potter when you should’ve been catching up on sleep, then no explanation is needed. The world based on these books was a tangible one for those of us who devoted their times and minds to it.

Want to learn how you can order your own from your local Starbucks? Although it’s a secret menu item, if you walk up to the counter with your sorting hat on and request a pumpkin juice, you’re probably still going to get weird looks. So assume that secret menu is really code for telling your barista how to make your wizardly concoction.

According to Instagrammer @sasakitime, you ask for apple juice to the top line of the cup, a few pumps of pumpkin spice sauce (depending on the size of your drink), and, for fun, a sprinkle of pumpkin spice seasoning and the rest with ice. Boom! By this same idea, you could also ask for a blended pumpkin juice drink, but I’ll be starting with the basics first.
