It comes but once a year. Oh yes. Once a year you're allowed to delve into the dark, twisted part of your mind and come up with something that'll scare the bejeesus out of people. As mentioned, I'd rather stick with friendly ghosts, but I'm not one to keep anyone else away from the creep! These 10 Halloween recipes are sufficiently spooky (yet albeit, pretty clever!) food ideas for your Halloween party.

Red-and-Pink-Stripe...

yikes, those witch fingers are creepy!
Tell me about it.
These apple bites look pretty good! And only three ingredients, too, so it should be fairly quick.
I've made similar witch fingers from a Martha Stewart recipe some years ago. They were terrific -very easy to make and everyone loved them. She includes a variation called 'mens toes'.

Cool post, but it would have been nice to see BEFORE Halloween
Dulcibella, "men's toes?" why would anyone want to put something called men's toes in their mouths? I would eat any of the items pictured in this post, but line has to be drawn somewhere.
We posted this on Tuesday, so it was before Halloween!
Thank you for including my witch fingers! And wow... men's toes. That is disgusting but that is kind of the point, right? Although maybe those cross the line into repulsive. :) And those Band-Aid crackers win the most disgusting award. I can't get over them!
