Hallelujah! We are about to enter snacking heaven. Grocery store chain Fresh Market is launching guacamole cheese, the ingenious marriage of two of our all-time favorite snack foods. The green Gouda arrives in stores just in time for Cinco De Mayo, but honestly we think guacamole cheese deserves a year-round spot in your refrigerator.

According to Delish, the guacamole cheese will be available for a limited time only at all 161 locations of Fresh Market stores, starting May 1. Prepare to stock up because the ingredients sound divine: traditional Gouda cheese blended with avocado, lime juice, chili, tomato, onion, and garlic.

It’s going for $24.99 per pound, which is definitely on the pricey side, but consider the cost of cheese and guacamole separately, and the sticker shock should subside, at least a little.

So how to make the most of this brilliant novelty item? While it’s totally possible to slice up Fresh Market’s guacamole cheese and enjoy it on crackers or corn chips, why not get more creative? Use it as a topping for Mexican-inspired nachos, or add it to a traditional queso recipe to spice things up a little. Don’t feel limited by melting, however. Try shredding it on top of

enchiladas or tacos

If you’re planning on throwing a party, try this recipe for a Bloody Maria brunch cocktail and serve it alongside this decadent nacho pie. And even if you do get your hands on a wedge of guacamole cheese, don’t skip serving actual guacamole.
