Looking for a healthy after-school snack? Need something to munch on at your desk to keep hanger at bay? Want to serve a fun, homemade appetizer at your next party? These baked sweet potato chips, sprinkled with BBQ seasoning, are the answer to all of the above.

The key to crispy baked chips is thinly slicing the sweet potatoes. You can use either a mandoline or a sharp chef’s knife to get the job done. Toss the potato slices with a mixture of spices — cumin, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, chili powder, brown sugar, smoked paprika, and black pepper — and olive oil, then line them up on a baking tray and bake until crispy.

Once the chips have cooled completely, eat them as is, or pair them with your favorite dip.
