There’s no point in burying the lead here, guys: Avocados are 50 cents each, today and tomorrow only at Trader Joe’s. Thats two for a dollar! Or four for two dollars (two dollars, as in how much a single avocado will cost you elsewhere in the world this weekend — if you’re lucky).

The reason for this amazing two-day sale? It’s the grocery store’s 50th anniversary. Also on sale for 50 cents each: a dozen eggs, canned corn, mangoes, and spaghetti. The actual sale is a little random, but we don’t care because, well, we don’t know if you heard, but avocados are 50 cents each. (Normally, Trader Joe’s avocados are 99 cents.) And that means we can make avocado pasta, avocado pickles, or just some simple avocado toast this week without breaking the bank.

More Ways to Put those Avocados to Good Use

To mark the anniversary, Trader Joe’s has also shared a list of the top 50 products, according to customers and crew members.

On the left side of the flyer, you can browse through the catagories — just click on Bakery, Snacks & Sweets, Cheese, etc. Or better yet: Just go to the store and look at them in person. You don’t want to risk everyone buying up those oh-so-cheap avocados!
