Most maternity photoshoots capture a particularly idyllic, relaxed-in-a-field-of-flowers version of pregnancy that doesn’t bear much resemblance to the real thing for most people. Someone out there might spend nine months wearing a flower crown in a field of lavender, but it wasn’t me. I felt like I spent 40 solid weeks in a grocery store trying to figure out what I was allowed to eat while pregnant, and then eating all of that.

That’s why one Texas mom is going viral this week with a set of grocery store maternity photos that are very relatable, and a whole lot of fun.

Montgomery, Texas, mom Amy Scott told Today she had taken some beautiful, ball-gown maternity photos while pregnant with her first two kids, but now that she’s expecting her third, she did not feel like putting on heels and going all glamorous. When photographer Lauren Giles of Studio 154 Photography asked what made her feel comfortable, she joked “eating.”

Eating sounded good, so they made arrangements to go to their local H-E-B grocery store for pickles and ice cream. The results are adorable.

Scott wore maternity jeans, sneakers, and a cardigan with her hair in an artfully messy topknot. Then she plopped down in the middle of the baby aisle and ate Blue Bell ice cream right out of the tub. (She brought the spoon from home, just in case.)

Scott perused the options at H-E-B’s enormous wall of pickles, then she ate some kettle corn, TUMS antacids, and some Drumsticks. It’s precious, and she looks like she’s having a lot of fun.

“I’m not the type of person to get glamorous for a photo shoot, especially in my eighth month of pregnancy,” Scott told ABC News. “Moms can totally relate to just wanting to eat their way through a grocery store while pregnant. There has been so much positive feedback and a lot of ‘Why didn’t I think of that?'”

Scott and Giles got permission from the store manager before they showed up for their photoshoot, and it looks like H-E-B’s tagline is not kidding when it says “no store does more.” The beloved regional grocery chain is Joanna Gaines’ favorite grocery store in Texas, too.

It was recently voted the third best grocery in the United States, according to Business Insider, and it looks like one of the more fun places to take a maternity photoshoot, too. They certainly have enough pickles.
