You Have to See This Ultimate Baker’s Pantry
While many of us can only ever dream of own owning a KitchenAid stand mixer (and a pantry to keep it in), Maria, who blogs with her husband at Two Peas and Their Pod, is lucky enough to have eight (yes, eight!) — and a giant pantry to store them all in.
If you’re impressed now, just wait until you see the rest of this magical setup.
If you’re wondering, these are the colors they have: Crystal Blue, French Blue, Grape, Raspberry Ice, Tangerine, Green Apple, Buttercup, and that’s the Mini Red KitchenAid Mixer on the marble countertop. And yes, they use them all constantly!
This space has basically become Maria’s office, so she loves having everything she could possibly need (her other small appliances, mixing bowls, baking pans, and more) all in one place. There are even refrigerator and freezer drawers hidden in there!
A super-sleek barn door (painted in Tricorn Black from Sherwin-Williams) slides to reveal this colorful — and organized! — space.
This pantry may be well out of reach for most of us, but there is a takeaway that can apply to your own kitchen or pantry: the idea to group like things together.
You probably don’t have eight stand mixers to put on display, but you can put all your baking stuff together, all your canned goods together, all your small appliances together, and so on. These groupings will automatically make any space (large or small) look more organized.
And take notice of that rolling cart. A small cart on wheels makes it easy to roll out ingredients or supplies to meet you wherever you’re working. Perhaps you can tuck one of IKEA’s iconic RÅSKOG carts into your coat closet or under a counter? At the very least, you can just keep swooning over this space.
