“Yellowstone”-Inspired Foods Are Hitting Shelves Soon So Every Fan Can Eat Like the Duttons
Fans of the hit Paramount Network series Yellowstone have a lot to be excited about, as they now have a chance to bring a little bit of the Dutton family dinner table magic into their homes. In partnership with FoodStory Brands, Paramount Consumer products has just announced a brand-new line of Yellowstone-inspired, Western-themed cuisine that includes premium coffee, seasonings and rubs, and canned chili. Additionally, later this fall, the plan is to include meat snacks, breakfast meats, and other proteins to the already stacked lineup. Those who wish to honor Gator’s cooking and get down with the unique taste of Montana are truly in for a treat.
“Yellowstone fans continue to look for ways to further engage with the brand and this new line is a natural extension of the Western lifestyle depicted in the show,” noted Dion Vlachos, executive vice president of licensing and retail, consumer products & experiences at Paramount, in a statement. “We are thrilled to partner with FoodStory Brands to curate authentic Western cuisine and bring the rustic roots and authentic flavors of Yellowstone to life, and we are so pleased with how retailers have embraced the products.”
So what can we expect out of the current lineup? Each bag of Yellowstone Coffee contains 12 ounces of ground 100 percent Arabica coffee and comes with 12 single-serve coffee pods. Three flavors are available for your brewing pleasure: Bunkhouse Medium Roast, Ranch House Dark Roast, and Caramel Oatmeal Light Roast. The Yellowstone Seasonings and Rubs, however, come in four different flavors: Cattleman Steak, Cowboy BBQ, Skillet Butter & Herb, and Smoky Bourbon. And last, but certainly not least, the Yellowstone Beef Chili will be sold in both bean and no-bean versions and is produced by Nashville’s very own Vietti Foods.
At the moment, you’ll have to do some hunting of your own to track down all three items in the current Yellowstone lineup. The Yellowstone Coffee is only found at Kroger supermarkets across the country, whereas Yellowstone Seasonings and Rubs are sold on Amazon, as well as at H.E.B., Jewel-Osco, Kroger, Walmart, and at select Albertsons and Safeway locations. Yellowstone Beef and Chili, however, will be available later this month, exclusively at Walmart for now.
The good news does not end here, though. Chef Gabriel “Gator” Guilbeau, who is both the show’s on-set caterer as well as the actor who plays chef Gator, just announced the release of Yellowstone: The Official Dutton Ranch Family Cookbook, which features 55 Yellowstone-inspired recipes for fans to enjoy. Recipes that can be expected to be found inside include include Beth’s Cheesy Hamburger Mac Casserole, Rip’s Fry Bread with Scrambled Eggs and Bacon, and Two Scoops of Ice Cream, Three Shots of Vodka (a truly dangerous combo).
With the cookbook releasing in September — and more products set to hit the Yellowstone lineup later this fall — this year is turning out to be a fantastic one for fans of life on the ranch. I don’t know about you, but it just might be time for this old ranch hand to grab his boots and dust off the old saddle after all.
