I Tried Every Frozen Greek Yogurt Bar Yasso Makes — These Are the 2 I’ll Definitely Be Buying Again
This article is dedicated to my ever-patient boyfriend who didn’t bat an eye when I told him I had rush-ordered 11 boxes of frozen yogurt bars, and needed him to clear out space in the freezer ASAP. You see, I’d been hearing a lot about Yasso on social media lately, in particular their frozen Greek-style yogurt pops. I was positive they’d be delicious (hello, it’s fro-yo!), but there was no way of knowing which flavor was worth buying on repeat. Staring at my online shopping cart, I was hit with indecision: What if I left sea salt caramel off the order and that was the best one? The only thing to do was order them all and do a taste-test.
The bars arrived quickly, and were wrapped in eco-friendly packaging made from corn (it’s compostable and dissolves in water — and watching it slowly shrink in my kitchen sink was the most fun I’ve had since the pandemic started). But, I digress. I put all 11 boxes (okay, 12; I got two boxes of my weakness, Birthday Cake) in the freezer and then got to tasting.
Over the course of a week, we tried all of the bars and came away with a handful of favorites. Each one is ultra-creamy and there are no artificial sweeteners, so they all have a nice, natural flavor. And at only 100 calories, these are generously sized. There wasn’t a dud in the bunch, but two stood out as the cream of the crop. They’re so good, I’d order 12 boxes of them again in a heartbeat.
1. Yasso Greek Frozen Yogurt Pistachio Brittle Bars
Pistachio is my number-one nut. I love it so much. It’s unfailingly my go-to order at ice cream shops, so I wasn’t surprised to fall in love with Yasso’s frozen yogurt version, too. But what really makes ‘em is the brittle. It’s highly crunchable and actually packed with nuts, giving nice contrast to the creaminess of the bar.
I’m not the only one who’s a fan: This flavor has a flawless five-star rating from customers who’ve left pages of reviews declaring their love for the ‘stach. I will note that a fair amount of the reviews were bemoaning their scarcity, so if you can’t find Pistachio Brittle at your local grocery store, consider ordering online. I didn’t have a problem with melting, and I ordered mine during a stretch of 80-degree days.

2. Yasso Greek Frozen Yogurt Black Raspberry Chip Bars
There are a lot of rich and chocolatey flavors in Yasso’s lineup (Fudge Brownie, Chocolate Peanut Butter Chip), but my other favorite was a light and refreshing change of pace: Black Raspberry Chip. My family had a patch of black raspberries on our property when I was younger, and I take the fruit very seriously. I was pleasantly surprised that Yasso’s spin on it tasted like the freshly grown stuff. From my first bite, I was transported back to the brambles on a sunny June day. I smiled as I browsed reviews as customers seem to feel the same way, with comments like, “These bars are the best taste of ‘home’ I could have ever asked for!”
I’d order these even if they were purely fruit, but the addition of dark and white chocolate chips only intensified my admiration. The combo even sparked some dessert inspiration; I’m planning on making cookies with this year’s crop of black raspberries, and drizzling them with melted white chocolate.
