I’m very proud of my glassware cabinet. Situated right underneath our bar, the cabinet is lined with all kinds of glasses perfect for any drink you could desire. Short tumblers, tall high balls, coupes, champagne coupes, even shot glasses and Nick & Noras. However, I also have far more wine glasses, and trying to store them is a real challenge. Because I have a slight obsession with finding fun kitchen hacks on the internet (have you seen this clever way to use your spice jars?), I came across a wine glass storage hack that has irrevocably changed my life.

This hack comes from Armen Adamjan, otherwise known as @creative_explained over on TikTok. In a series of kitchen hacks shared in his video, Adamjan points out an innovative way to store wine glasses that I’m honestly annoyed I never thought of before. Instead of lining them up like soldiers (which is how I used to store my wine glasses), flip every other wine glass upside down so they nest nicely together in the cabinet. This saves you space, and even gives you more space to store more wine glasses in your cabinet.

This trick is honestly ingenious. The stems from the wine glasses already create a lot of empty space below the top, so why not fill it by flipping those wine glasses upside down? In Adamjan’s video, he is able to store an extra wine glass per row in his cabinet, making the most of his space so he can store even more glasses in his kitchen.

Now with so much more space in your cabinet, you might as well splurge on some gorgeous new glasses! I’ve had my eye on these vintage-looking glasses from Marshalls for a while now. The best part? You can use this storage hack for them as well.
