Just when I finally convinced myself that I'm happy with my Le Creuset color choices (I'm lucky enough to have a few basic pieces in a mix of White and Soleil), the company goes and comes out with a new, limited-time collection that has me questioning everything. Should I have gone with something more surprising? Is there something that would have gone better with white? What even is color?
Meet the Ombré line, which the brand describes as, "A new color evolution in our rich legacy of innovation, this limited-edition collection dazzles with shades that cascade from light to dark."
While many Le Creuset colors already have a slight ombré effect, the transition on these pieces is much more pronounced. Available in Gray Ombré, Pink Ombré, and Blue Ombré, the new colors come in a saucepan and two different Dutch oven sizes (4.5 and 7.25 quarts). Prices are the same as the brand's other colors. And the collection will available on Le Creuset's site and Williams Sonoma's site — now through January 2019, while supplies last.

I think the pink and blue are beautiful, but probably a little too much for my tastes. That said, I'm crushing real hard on this gray. It would go really well with my white pieces and the other pops of color I have in my kitchen. And actually, it even goes with the yellow I have. So maybe the answer here is that I just need more Le Creuset? Hopefully the stock lasts long enough to put the saucepan on my holiday wish list!
What do you think of the new collection? Do you prefer one of the colors over the others?
