Why You Should Be Adding Salt to Your Coffee

Yes, it sounds a bit crazy, but hear us out: Salt won’t amp up the calories — like cream and sugar do — but will mellow the flavor of too-bitter coffee.

We’re not talking about a lot of salt here — only a pinch. You can add it to the grounds before it’s brewed, or dissolve it in a pot of brewed coffee. Of course, if you are avoiding salt, this trick might not work for you either, and you’ll just have to learn to enjoy your coffee black.
