Is this can in your pantry? What? It’s not? Well it should be! Here’s a few reasons why coconut milk powder is a new canned favorite and how to put it to use in your kitchen.

I have a love hate relationship with coconut milk. It makes dishes oh-so-tasty, but it’s not exactly inexpensive. And if you’re shopping on foot, carrying several cans home from the store can get heavy.

Recently I’ve started using coconut milk powder instead of the traditional liquid milk. It weighs next to nothing and doesn’t have any problems reconstituting with other liquids in a recipe. It’s the perfect mix-in to soups, dressings, curries, even baked goods. It makes the best glaze imaginable for homemade donuts and is also a fantastic smoothie add in! I’ve used it in almost every dish imaginable without any hesitation and had superstar results.
