There’s a new breakfast quirk that’s come to light recently, thanks to social media. As it turns out, tons of people add a little something extra to their breakfast cereal each morning: ice cubes. Why? It’s all about the temperature of the milk.

For these cereal fans, milk straight out of the carton just isn’t cold enough.

Our first question, of course, was, doesn’t it dilute the milk? But cereal isn’t one of those foods you savor, so too much melting generally isn’t a problem, according to those who enjoy their cereal on the rocks.
