A couple years ago a reader shared her smart solution for storing oversized cookie sheets and large cutting boards: she put them all in a tall basket in a previously-unused corner of her kitchen! We know

Ina Garten likes this idea, too, so today I rounded up a few other examples to show that, yes, it is quite doable and a great way to free up that precious cabinet space.

You can find large baskets for pretty cheap at IKEA, World Market, or TJ Maxx. Put one in an empty corner of your kitchen, or a free bit of wall space that won’t have you tripping over it, then lug out your half-sheet pans, your oversized cutting boards, your cooling racks, and all those other too-tall items that give you a headache. Propped up neatly in the basket, they’re now easy to see and access!

Have you done this in your kitchen?
