The ramen trend wants to also revolutionize your make-at-home instant ramen. Whole Foods has started carrying ramen kits from Sun Noodles, which supplies noodles to David Chang’s restaurants.

But how do the at-home versions taste? Grub Street asked their college student interns to test them out.

Surprisingly, the results were less than favorable. The Sun Noodle kits called for too many extra ingredients and seven cups of water. (None of the interns had pots that big!)

Moral of the story: these kits might be geared toward people no longer in college. Even with the intern’s questionable reviews (which are hilarious and worth reading), we can’t wait to try them for ourselves. (Sadly, the kits are only in the New York area stores right now.)
