Sound the Alarms! Whole Foods Is Selling $8 Wine This Weekend
Whether you’re heading to a summer BBQ or catching up on Netflix by yourself on the couch, there’s a pretty sweet sale happening at Whole Foods this weekend that you should probably know about. The grocery store recently announced that they are holding a special sale on wine this weekend where customers can get bottles from as low as $8.
The sale is for bottles from Whole Foods’ “sommelier select” program. Bottles are 20 percent off their regular price from July 21 (that’s today!) to July 23, which means sales prices range from $8 to $20 per bottle. There’s even a special magnum bottle of rosé going for just over $20 that would be perfect to bring to your next summer party.
The “sommelier select” program from Whole Foods highlights wines that go well with the season. On the list you’ll see a lot of high-quality canned wines (like West Side Wine Co.) and an abundance of trendy “chillable reds” — the next rosé (or even frosé), in my opinion.
While $8 is a pretty great steal for wine at Whole Foods, if you’re used to shopping at Trader Joe’s wine store, you might be a little disappointed by the sale. While you won’t find any Charles Shaw wine (or prices) at Whole Foods this weekend, it’s still worth checking out to see if there’s something you’ve been wanting to try. And, I mean, who wouldn’t want to try that magnum of rosé?
