This Whole Foods Ice Cream Sale Will Save Your Weekend

You’re gonna need a spoon (or some cones), if you plan on hitting Whole Foods this weekend. The grocery chain is having a great sale on ice cream: Starting today, July 13, and running through Sunday, July 15, you can get two pints of either Talenti or Ben & Jerry’s for just $6 — and that includes their expanding line of dairy-free options. (Amazon Prime members get an additional 10 percent off the sale price!)

This sale comes with impeccable timing because, according to The Weather Channel, the weekend forecast is hot and humid throughout the Midwest and Northeast. And what’s better than inexpensive-yet-top-of-the-line ice cream to help you beat the heat?

Seriously, when was the last time you found either of these brands for less than $4 per pint? Kitchn staffers were pretty pumped to hear the news. Here’s what we’re planning on stocking up on this weekend.

“Ben & Jerry’s Mint Chocolate Cookie is basically two of my favorite flavors married together in one dreamy carton. The brand’s Vanilla is also one of my favorite vanilla ice creams. It’s really creamy, has a super-strong vanilla flavor (in the best possible way), and even won our (blind) office taste test.
