What Should I Make for My Mother’s Birthday Brunch?

Q: It’s my mom’s birthday in a couple of weeks and she’s planning on hosting an all-ladies brunch. I will be doing most of the cooking, so I’m looking for some inspiration and recipes that are feminine and light, but also easy to make for a crowd (we’re going to be 10 to 20 women) and preferably inexpensive.

I’m definitely going to make Faith’s Sticky Lemon Rolls and I’m thinking maybe some sort of quiche. My mom can’t eat pork, beef or potatoes so I’m trying to steer clear of that, but other than that anything goes. It should also be noted that we live in Denmark, so we don’t have acces to some ‘American specialities’.
