Q: I'm in the process of setting up a makeshift kitchen in our living room to help us get through an upcoming renovation. We'll have a toaster oven, microwave, electric kettle and slow cooker set up in our living room.
We're also planning to use a small dorm-sized fridge during the reno. Since the fridge is obviously much smaller than our current one, space is at a premium. Milk, eggs, cheese, butter, ketchup, mustard and mayo are on the list so far. I'm planning on doing a lot of daily runs to the store to buy things for our daily dinners (with planned leftovers, of course) but what other basics do you suggest I allocate some of the precious fridge space to?
