What Are Some Great Dinners That Can Be Made Without an Oven?

Q: My boyfriend just moved into a new studio apartment in downtown San Francisco. His tiny box of a living space doesn’t have an oven. Just a stovetop and a microwave. Although we don’t live together, I spend a good deal of my time at his place and I’m getting sick and tired of eating hamburger helper and ordering pizza.

I guess what I’m asking is are there any good alternatives or substitutes for not having an oven?
