Q: I'm going on vacation with my family next week and each couple has been given one night to cook dinner for everyone. My husband and I love to cook, but we want to prepare a simple, no-nonsense kind of a meal. We will be dining al fresco overlooking a lake and have access to rudimentary kitchen utensils, a gas stove/oven and a charcoal grill. We would like to avoid any pasta dishes.
