West Elm Market: A New Shop For Home Tools, Including Lots of Kitchen Stuff!

Today West Elm launched West Elm Market, and boy, are we excited! The new store (the first of which will open in Brooklyn on October 25th) specializes in what West Elm is calling “your total tool homekit” with categories for Kitchen, Garden, Care + Repair, and Personal Care. We’re clearly especially excited about the new kitchen collection, which includes everything from Smeg refrigerators (in 10 juicy colors!) to Ittala cast iron pots.

West Elm market will not only feature West Elm’s own products (including an exclusive line of modern enameled cast-iron Dutch ovens and pans) but also select products from well-known kitchen names like Krups, Smeg, Black + Blum, Nordic Ware, Lodge, and Full Circle. And continuing with the company’s recent focus on partnering with high-quality indie brands and labels, the Market will also sell limited edition collaboration pieces done especially for West Elm, like the Teflon-free nonstick pots and pans collection developed by GreenPan, the copper sauce pan from Brooklyn Copper Cookware, and the signature sage scent cleaners from Common Good.

The new collection launched online TODAY, but eight Market shop-in-shops will open in select West Elm stores in Costa Mesa, Dallas, Los Angeles, Philadelphia, Nashville, New York City, Seattle and Toronto in November.

I am loving the Terrain bakeware ($24-$39), these wood and glass storage jars ($16-$29), the enamel measuring cups ($19), and of course, the Smeg refrigerators ($1,999). So many gift ideas! What do you have your eye on?
