Why We Wanna Cook Here: Glossy magazine style — and shiplap!

Believe it or not, these photos don’t even do this house justice. It looks like a house you’d see in a magazine. And the kitchen doesn’t disappoint. It’s got brand-new Viking appliances, gorgeous butcher block countertops, and everything you’ll need to make a fancy weekend dinner. Also: Shiplap!

Who Should Go (and When)

Escapists. There’s no WiFi, so this place is really for those looking to unplug. And, with three singles and one double, it’s also made for a group of besties (you’ll have to fight it out for who has to share) or families with kids who don’t mind sharing sleeping quarters. Finally, thanks to outdoor space and a fireplace, this spot is an equal-opportunity getaway.

What We’d Cook Here

This kitchen may be small, but it’s well-equipped and it has counter space for days. We’re picturing an end-of-season corn and tomato salad with roughly torn basil and local cheese and crusty sourdough slathered with butter.

While you’re prepping, why not whip up a stiff and smoky cocktail that will keep you warm as the sun sets and the temperatures drop?

Another Thing We Love

This kitchen is plenty bright, but we still love that table lamp on the counter. In fact, we always love a table lamp in the kitchen. Here, the lamp not only adds light (duh), but it also makes the space feel a little more cozy. Oh, and if you’re asking yourself where the fridge is, it’s in the pantry off to the side. An ingenious idea for smaller kitchens! This way, the space isn’t overwhelmed by tons of stainless steel.

What to Instagram

Basically everything in this house is made for Insta. If we had to pick one thing, it’s that that Dutch door. Snap a cheeky photo of you or a friend peeking in and post. #adorable!
