Need a lesson in gratitude? Watch how this three-year-old boy reacts to receiving an avocado as a gift in this short video. It’s probably the most adorable thing you’ll see all day.

This Vine was taken by the kid’s uncle, Jeff Simmons. According to the Global News, they were trying to teach the boy how to react to getting a present you don’t like, so they wrapped up some unexpected things – including avocados – and the boy tried to act happy when he opened the gift.

While most of the Internet is freaking out over the idea of receiving an avocado as a gift, I don’t think it’s the worst idea for a present. Fine, maybe it’s not a great idea for a kid, but what about for an adult? I mean, what if the avocado was perfectly ripe inside? That would be kind of special.
