In the last several years, Walmart has majorly stepped up its game in the good-for-you food department, with plenty of plant-based, vegan, paleo, gluten-free, and keto-friendly options. The retailer also has a private-label organic line, Great Value Organic, which offers top-notch certified organic products.

And just in the last month, I was surprised by how many new health-conscious foods they’d added to the shelves. Here are 12 of the top new items that I put in my cart.

1. Silk Plain Almond Milk Yogurt, $5 for 24 ounces

Add some plant-based protein, probiotics, and healthy fats to your next smoothie with Silk’s new plain-flavored almond milk yogurt. With no cholesterol and less saturated fat than whole milk yogurt, this is a great alternative that’s still creamy. The plain flavor, which is lower in sugar than other options, only became available last year, and Walmart now has it in the big tubs.

2. Tasty Seasoning Mixes, $1.48 each

Tasty now has spice mix packets made in partnership with McCormick I love that they’re not sky-high in sodium (like most seasoning packets) and that they come in delicious flavor combinations like basil, thyme, and lemon zest. Keep a few of these in your pantry and use them to season your next batch of roasted veggies, add them to soup, or spice up a salad dressing or dip.

3. Wild Friends Super Butter, $9.98 for 16 ounces

Wild Friends’ new Super Butter is filled with almonds, cashews, chia, flax seeds, and just a touch of honey. Chia and flax are a great source of omega-3 fats, fiber, and antioxidants; and almonds and cashews are both good sources of plant-based protein, healthy fats, B vitamins, and magnesium. Slather it on your morning toast for a breakfast that will keep you full until lunchtime.

4. PB2 Probiotic Peanut Butter Powder, $4.88 for 6.5 ounces

Peanut butter powder is one of my favorite secret ingredients to keep in the kitchen. Mix it with water or non-dairy milk to make a lower-fat peanut butter or use the powder itself in smoothies to add an instant burst of peanut butter flavor, as well as fiber and protein. PB2 now has a probiotic-rich version that you can find in the peanut butter aisle.

6. CauliPower Sweet PotaToasts, $5.98 for 16 ounces

I couldn’t be more in love with these frozen sweet potato toasts. They’re made with just two ingredients — sweet potatoes and cauliflower — and are a great way to get in more veggies. Lightly brown in your oven and serve with avocado slices, salsa, or even macerated berries for a sweet touch. Find them in the frozen food section near the cauliflower crust pizzas.

7. Great Value Coconut and Almond Flour, from $4.98 for 2 pounds

Are you curious about alternative flours? Great Value’s organic coconut flour is $2 less than my normal go-to brand for the exact same product. They also make almond flour which is supposed to be fantastic to bake with.

8. Sanaía Guava Organic Applesauce, $1.48 for 5.3 ounces

I love this new-to-Walmart-stores brand of applesauce, which has just 3 grams added sugar per cup. It also has guava, a beautiful bright pink fruit that you’re going to see and hear a lot about this year. Guava is high in vitamin C, potassium, and is great for your skin. Not sure about guava? There’s also an unsweetened variety made from green apples.

11. Great Value Organic Frozen Rainbow Chard, $1.98 for 10 ounces

Forget having to wash and scrub fresh rainbow chard, because you can now find frozen chard at Walmart! I love using this frozen chard as a side dish or in soup. It’s great sautéed with some onion and lemon juice along with some herbs (like oregano or Herbs de’ Provence). Rainbow chard is high in vitamins A, C, and K, and it’s a great source of calcium, magnesium, fiber, and potassium.
