Take a Trip to Disney’s EPCOT Without Ever Leaving Your Kitchen with This New Cookbook
Disney Parks like Disneyland and Disney World aren’t just beloved for their rides, costumed characters, shows, and parades — there’s also a dedicated fan base for Disney food served at the parks. From the iconic Dole Whip and churros to Mickey-shaped cookies and Star Wars-theme cocktails, there’s a whole world of Disney food to discover.
Until fairly recently, fans have been left guessing how to recreate their favorite Disney creations at home. That is, until the clever folks over at Simon & Schuster hired Ashley Craft to write The Unofficial Disney Parks Cookbook. It was a big hit and led to the follow-up, The Unofficial Disney Parks Drinks Recipe Book.
Now, the author is focusing on EPCOT, the globally themed section of Disney World that features international cuisine at its pavilions and during festivals throughout the year. The Unofficial Disney Parks EPCOT Cookbook will feature recipes from the many pavilions like Honey Chocolate Baklava, Fish and Chips, Tangerine Kakigōri, and Macaron Ice Cream Sandwiches. It’s a culinary trip around the world without having to pay the steep admission price.
Disney is finally catching up cookbook-wise, recently releasing their own Walt Disney World cookbook as well as the forthcoming Enchanted Recipes, a collection of recipes inspired by Disney and Pixar animated films. Meanwhile, Marvel (owned by Disney) recently released The Official Wakanda Cookbook.
One thing’s for sure: If you’re a Disney fan and you like to cook, you finally have plenty of cookbooks to choose from!
