If you’re super into home decor at a great price (who isn’t?), you already know that Trader Joe’s truly has it all — deluxe, special-edition groceries and treats, the cutest planters, stunning flowers, tantalizing candles, and, now, yet another home decor item to make your kitchen feel complete. After several months of anticipation, the grocer is finally dropping a highly hyped, new-and-improved kitchen staple that’s sure to look great in your space: waffle-weave cotton kitchen towels

Carefully woven on large looms in Tunisia, the towels have a super-absorbent grooved square pattern that increases the fabric’s surface area, which means it promises to be great for sopping up spills, drying dishes, or doing a thorough wipe-down of the kitchen. Plus, they look great, too. The towels come in sets of three in three different colorways: white with a red stripe, white with a green stripe, and white with a blue stripe. You can expect to find them in your local Trader Joe’s later this week, so keep your eyes peeled.

Slightly more square than the average kitchen hand towel, these 100% cotton towels — which makes them more durable than polyester or other synthetic fibers, by the way — measure 18×24 inches. The set of three goes for only $7.99, which makes them a steal compared to competitors.

What’s more? Rumor has it (i.e., we heard directly from Trader Joe’s itself) that the more you wash them, the softer they become. Yes, really! Trader Joe’s also suggests washing them twice before using them to maximize softness and absorbency.

Run, don’t walk to the nearest Trader Joe’s to pick up this stellar find, because they won’t last long. And if there isn’t a Trader Joe’s near you, here’s a slightly pricier set of waffle-weave kitchen hand towels you can snag on Amazon.
