Trader Joe’s might be the go-to spot for affordable groceries, but it’s also the best place to snag affordable plants as well. Not just flowers (although we do love the flower selection), but also the best spot to snag the most adorable succulent and cactus planters for your kitchen. If your home needs a little something to brighten it up, then you’re going to want to snag the most recent plant offering, now available at your local Trader Joe’s.

You can snag one of these adorable cactus and succulent planters in colorful ceramic blue or tan pots for only $8.99. Each pot features three different plants: A moon cactus with a colored bulb like pink, red, or yellow, as well as two different succulent varieties, including jade succulents and zebra plant succulents. They’re all planted in one pot so you don’t have to, making them the perfect little desk plant to add a pop of color to your space.

Along with these new succulent varieties, Trader Joe’s is also selling larger green plants at $7.99 in ceramic pots, including tradescantia (spiderwood plants), and other ivy and succulent varieties.

Thankfully, succulents are easy to take care of, making them the perfect houseplant for someone as busy as yourself. According to Trader Joe’s, they thrive in bright lights indoors, or full to partial sun outdoors. They prefer up to 85ºF when it comes to temperatures, and enjoy dry soil. This means you only need to water your plant once a week or so, making them drought-friendly. (And making them harder to kill!) When it’s time to water your succulent, you likely only need a tablespoon or two of water at a time.

Trader Joe’s almost always hands out their succulents in gorgeous ceramic pots that will match your home decor, including this new variety that comes in bright colors of your choosing.
