The average holiday stocking is (quite literally) a mixed bag, and I would argue that the key to their magic is excessive randomness. You can probably guess what I’m about to say, but here goes anyway: The best place to buy random, stocking-sized, delightful things is Trader Joe’s!

More so than your average supermarket, TJ’s is stocked with all sorts of cult-favorites, trinket-sized candies, and even gift-y self-care products that someone on your list would be overjoyed to receive. (Trust, us, even though you picked these up on your weekly grocery haul, these picks won’t look like an afterthought.)

We rounded up a list of the very best stocking stuffers that your neighborhood Trader Joe’s has to offer. Now get stuffing!

1. Chocolate Passport, $10

I found these gorgeous single-origin chocolate bar sets in the checkout aisle, and decided to turn this impulse purchase into the best holiday present that $10 can buy. It would also obviously be great in a stocking!

If you know someone with a sweet tooth to rival that of the reindeer on this packaging, this caramel popcorn coated in dark chocolate and then white chocolate and dusted with peppermint is a good choice! Maybe throw in a toothbrush too?

Arguably, no single TJ’s product has a greater cult following than this little jar of Everything Bagel Seasoning. This is for that one person who you know will sprinkle the good stuff over EVERYTHING.

4. Body Butter Trio, $8

My most favorite stockings of my youth had some form of self-care products nestled within. And who knew TJ’s had you covered on those goodies too? This body butter set includes Almond Honey, Lemon Verbena, and Frosted Berry, which smell good enough to eat. Put the whole set in a stocking or break up the pieces among each one hanging on your fireplace.
