Trader Joe’s shoppers who have recently purchased the grocer’s matcha green tea ice cream need to check their inventory and toss the product out. The retailer recently recalled this trendy grocery staple, citing that some of the one-quart containers may have small metal pieces in them. Yikes.

“We are voluntarily recalling all lot codes of Trader Joe’s Matcha Green Tea Ice Cream (SKU# 055740) because of the potential presence of small metal pieces in the product,” says the company on its website.

According to Trader Joe’s, all inventory has been removed from store shelves and destroyed. Those who have purchased the affected product have been asked to dispose of it or return it to any Trader Joe’s for a full refund.

Thus far, no injuries or illnesses have been reported.
