Trader Joe’s has an uncanny ability to release seasonal offerings that are one-of-a-kind and delicious. (Ahem, have you snagged your Trader Joe’s Strawberry-Lemonade Ice Bars yet?) The neighborhood grocery chain is known to stock its shelves with products that get people talking, and with the latest pickle trend in full effect, its newest offering is nothing short of a pickled delicacy.

Spotted originally by Instagram account Trader Joe’s Obsessed, 4-ounce bags of Pickle Curds are the latest snack to throw the internet into a frenzy. If you’re a pickle-lover, these curds should absolutely be on your radar.

But what are “pickle curds,” exactly? Pickle Curds are a limited-edition snack from the Utah-based creamery Beehive Cheese that combine cheese curds with pickle seasoning — and they’re exclusively available at Trader Joe’s. These little cheese nuggets make a great topping on all kinds of meals (think: salads and poutine), but are also delicious eaten right out of the bag.

It seems like people can’t wait to get their hands on them. One fan commented that they were “super intrigued,” while another offered a smart tip for prepping the curds: “Always, ALWAYS bring the cheese to room temp, then microwave 1- seconds before you top the french fries with it.”

With pickle-flavored food launches showing no signs of slowing down, Trader Joe’s is continuing to satisfy customer cravings: Just last May, the company released its Seasoning in a Pickle Seasoning Blend. If that’s not enough pickle for you, make sure you stock up on everything Trader Joe’s has to offer, including pickle-flavored falafel, hummus, mustard, potato chips, and mini corn dogs.
